POSITION

Full-Time, Salaried, Performance-Based Bonus

LOCATION: West Palm Beach, Florida

Required 4 days per week in the office (Mon-Thu). Please do not apply if this does not align with you.

As a Staff Accountant, you will be at the center of our company’s daily lending activity as well as the effort to effectively manage the corporate finances and assist in developing the optimal corporate capital structure. We are searching for an experienced, reliable, task-oriented, and passionate professional who shares our company core values, that of outperformance, diligence, communication and delighting our customers. Our ideal candidate is capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accounts payable

  • Preparing and posting journal entries

  • Assist with loan portfolio reconciliation

  • Assist with the monthly close process

  • Assist with bank daily bank reconciliation

  • Work on various projects and ad hoc tasks as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

  • An understanding of basic accounting (debits and credits)

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

  • Accounts Payable experience required

  • Experience with fixed assets and prepaid expenses preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite

  • An inquiring mindset and the drive to constantly learn and improve

  • Ability to organize and maintain attention to detail

  • Preference given to candidates with Mortgage and/or Hedge Funds accounting experience
